What we keep
- Your account: name, email, WhatsApp number, and a password stored only as a scrambled value we cannot reverse.
- Your conversations: what you send and what the AI replies, so your history is there tomorrow and the assistant can follow a thread.
- What we remember about you: short notes like "edits wedding videos" or "charges 4,000 taka", which is what makes the assistant more useful in month six than in month one.
- Usage and payments: how many messages you sent, what they cost us, and the receipts you upload.
What you can delete, right now
The Memory page lists every fact stored about you. Each one has a delete button and it goes for good. You can delete any conversation from the sidebar, which removes its messages, not just the title. Ask us and we will delete your whole account — everything above, apart from payment records we have to keep for accounts.
Who else sees it
To answer you, your message and the recent part of the conversation are sent to the AI provider (OpenRouter, and through them the company whose model you chose). We have prompt logging switched off, so they are not keeping your conversations to train on.
Nobody else. We do not sell anything to anyone, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
Who can read your chats
Plainly: whoever runs our server can. Your conversations are stored so that we can show them back to you, which means they are not encrypted in a way that locks us out. That is true of every AI chat service, including the ones that do not mention it.
In practice we read a conversation only when you ask us to look at something, or when we are chasing a specific fault. We do not browse them. If you would not put something in an email, do not put it here.
Where it lives
On a server we rent, currently in Germany, reached over an encrypted connection. The AI providers are outside Bangladesh too. Using Bhashaghor means accepting that your messages travel abroad and back.
How long
Conversations and memory stay until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are kept for six years, as accounts require. Verification codes are deleted within days.
If you chat with us on WhatsApp, those messages are stored here exactly like the ones on the website — the two are one history. WhatsApp itself also holds them under its own policy, which we do not control.
Children
Bhashaghor is not for under-13s, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
Asking us
For a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, message the WhatsApp number your verification code came from, or email privacy@bhashaghor.com. We answer within a few days, from Bangladesh.
